TODDLERS
Toddlers make great developmental strides from first steps to potty training, and New Jubilee teachers are right there to provide support in a fun and active environment. Energetic teachers plan activities to encourage your toddlers eager investigation of the world.
Centers for imaginary play, blocks and puzzles, creative art, and lots of books are always open for discovery. In order to provide toddlers with the consistency and routine they crave, teachers plan days filled with a balance of quiet activities, spirited music and movement, and plenty of outdoor climbing, running, and jumping.
Young toddlers play and learn in a bright and cheery environment with lots of opportunities for independent exploration. Activities such as circle time are introduced to encourage verbal and social growth. Finger-plays, stories, and songs are incorporated into each day to foster a toddlers awareness of the world around them.
I Can Do All Things Program
The I Can Do All Things program for older toddlers is unique to New Jubilee. The emphasis in this program is socialization and the acquisition of self-help skills, particularly potty training. Although children potty-train at their own pace, New Jubilee teachers and toddler parents work together to provide the best environment for success. In addition, toddlers are practicing hand washing, putting on their coats, picking up their toys, and sharing with their friends.
Preschool Program
Why does the preschool program at New Jubilee® look like its so much fun?
Because play is the foundation for all learning, and at New Jubilee we think play is a serious matter. Teachers are given the freedom to design lesson plans for the individual needs of the children in their classroom. Children gain self-confidence as they independently explore learning centers for dramatic play, math, creative art, science, music and computers.
Supported by New Jubilee Developmental Guidelines and taught in a low-pressure environment, children gain the skills that will guide them toward future academic success. Your preschooler will be introduced to the concepts of cause and effect and more or less, cognitive skills like sequencing and matching, social skills in similarities and diversity, and language art skills such as storytelling and process writing.
Bright classrooms and large playgrounds create the backdrop for a learning environment where children are engaged in exciting activities that are related to a monthly theme. Children are exposed to special guests from local museums and libraries, police officers, fire fighters, veterinarians, and puppet shows. By encouraging children to learn through play, New Jubilee offers preschoolers an opportunity to establish a lifelong love of learning.
After School Program
Children can play with their friends, participate in a variety of recreational activities,
and receive assistance with their homework. Once their homework is completed and check for accuracy, children can relax and enjoy a book. Music, creative art, dramatic play, computers, and lots of outdoor play are planned by teachers to encourage socialization and problemsolving skills.
Summer at New Jubilee is the place for fun and exploration!
Our summer S.L.A.M. calendar is packed with exciting opportunities. While school-age children learn through nature walks and visits from zoos and museums
Toddlers and preschoolers discover the world by planting gardens and enjoying picnics with friends.
Children of all ages march in playground parades, learn about creepy crawlies, send letters to pen pals, and 'travel' to the stars.
Energetic teachers plan summer days filled with enriching activities that nurture each child's self-confidence and provide a summer full of fun and learning!
