New Jubilee Philosophy
At New Jubilee, Child Development Center, we think of curriculum planning not as a series of recipes for activities, but rather as emerging opportunities for a variety of experiences to be offered to the children to help them deepen their understanding of their world.
We believe each child is a unique individual. We provide developmentally appropriate programs that focus on the process of learning and help children enjoy successful experiences. It is the primary goals of the Center to provide an informal atmosphere, a physical environment that is safe, clean, nurturing, healthy and child oriented, where children learn through play and the exploration of their environment. Children have the opportunity to become independent and successful in this educational environment, begin to successfully solve problems and learn to express their ideas and feelings.
In order to accomplish these goals New Jubilee will:
¨ Enhance the childs self-esteem, self awareness, and self confidence offering may opportunities for a child to develop biblical awareness, express ideas, and understand his/her emotions and to attain skills to control them.
¨ Provide opportunities for scripture, math, science, reading, memory skills, language development.
¨ Offer a wide-range of enriching activities to meet the needs of each child.
¨ Focus on building a strong and balanced foundation of emotional, social, cognitive, and physical skills for each child.
¨ Offer multi-cultural and developmentally appropriate materials and equipment.
¨ Provide a safe and secure environment.
¨ Receive regular Quality Assurance audits and parent surveys.
¨ Receive continuing education for the on-going development of teachers and directors.
¨ Offer open communication with parents in an atmosphere of mutual trust and respect.
