Our Congregational Ministries Prayer Team The prayer team provides leadership to focus as a vital part of every ministry in the congregation.  They give leadership to prayer meetings, prayer chains, and intercessory prayer. Goal: To lead and encourage prayer throughout the congregation. Ministry needs: Persons who will commit to pray for individual and congregational needs. Worship Team The worship team provides leadership in music and inspiration for our worship services.  Our music program includes seasonal choirs and vocal ensembles for people of all ages. Goal: To lead the congregation in praise and worship. Ministry needs: Persons who can sing or play an instrument. Many opportunities are available. Hospitality Team Provides for fellowship occasions in our congregation.  Responsibilities include assimilation of new attendees, greeters and ushers, and planning social events and meals. Goal: To facilitate the fellowship and social interaction of the congregation.   Ministry needs: Greeters, ushers, persons to plan and coordinate fellowship functions and to prepare and serve food. School of Ministries Provides Sunday morning nursery and Sunday School classes from early childhood through adult.  They plan and coordinate educational services and Bible Studies. Goal: To teach and encourage children and adults to have a committed life to Jesus Christ. Ministries needs: Teachers and helpers for classroom situations. Covenant Care Ministry Provides spiritual care, discipleship, and outreach through small groups. They also provide for the benevolent care of persons in the congregation.  This includes leadership of small groups, ladies and men’s bible studies, and care groups. Goal: To provide small group ministry and to provide benevolent care. Ministry needs: Persons with small group leadership abilities, compassion, and counseling skills are needed as well. Outreach /Evangelistic Ministry Provides leadership to the congregation in evangelism activities and mission involvement.   Goal: To help the congregation reach persons in the community for Christ and the Church. Ministry needs: Persons to contact and develop relationships with unchurched persons. Boys to Men/Girls to Women Ministry Designed to provide our youth with an atmosphere of positive Christian fellowship, worship, and encouragement for the purpose of discipleship, evangelism, and service. Goal: To care for the spiritual and social needs of the youth in our congregation and community. Ministry needs: Teachers, helpers, event planners, and Disciples. Young Adult Ministry – Y.A.M. Designed to provide young adults with an atmosphere of positive Christian fellowship, worship, and encouragement for the purpose of discipleship, evangelism, and service. Goal: To care for the spiritual and social needs of the young adults in our congregation and community. Ministry needs: Teachers, helpers, event planners, and Disciples. CREM (Christian Relationships Enhancement Ministry - Couples) Designed to provide married persons with an atmosphere of positive Christian fellowship, worship and encouragement for the purpose of discipleship, evangelism and service. Goal:  To care for the spiritual and social needs of the Couples in our congregation and community. Ministry needs:  Helpers, Event Planners and Disciples. S.O.A.R.  (Singles Organized to Affirm Righteousness Ministry- Singles) Designed to provide single and engaged or divorced persons with an atmosphere of positive Christian fellowship, worship and encouragement for the purpose of discipleship, evangelism and service. Goal:  To care for the spiritual and social needs of the singles, engaged and divorced members in our congregation and community. Ministry needs:  Helpers, Event Planners and Disciples. Lions of Judah Designed to provide male persons with an atmosphere of positive Christian fellowship, worship and encouragement for the purpose of discipleship, evangelism and service. Women's Fellowship Designed to provide female persons with an atmosphere of positive Christian fellowship, worship and encouragement for the purpose of discipleship, evangelism and service.
